MHT Technology Ltd is a leading global supplier of tank gauging, terminal automation and stock management solutions for bulk liquid storage and handling.
MHT Technology Limited started in 1994, providing services to oil storage sites in UK and Ireland using Whessoe gauges. We developed the world’s first graphical tank gauging system on Windows™ called Visual Tank for Windows, or VTW. We have come a long way since then and are in use in use on over 1,500 sites across the world.
Our product range has extended to include terminal automation systems, hardware devices to allow different manufacturer’s gauges to coexist, and electronic process management.
In 2014 the global firm Endress+Hauser completed the purchase of MHT Technology. Although we are no longer financially independent, the 25 staff in North Yorkshire continue to work together in-house developing software, designing hardware devices, and servicing instruments and systems in the field.
MHT is proud to adhere to the highest quality standards. We operate a QMS fully meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, and our field service technicians hold Safety Passports and CompEx certificates. We value every conversation with our customers as an opportunity to learn and grow. The customer experience is at the heart of everything we do.
We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint wherever possible. Our office site features several renewable energy systems:
- Heating and Air Conditioning are provided using a Ground Source Heat Pump located in a nearby lake
- Electricity is generated by Solar Panels and an on-site Wind Turbine
Our range of innovative Tank Gauging and Terminal Automation products help our customers to minimise the risk of environmental damage caused by fuel spills, leaks or contamination.
The company also endeavours to use local suppliers where possible. This helps to support the local economy and contribute positively to reducing emissions.
We are an innovative company where creativity and problem solving is always encouraged. We use technology to solve our customer’s problems in new and innovative ways.
We recognise that to do this we must look after our team of employees. We are committed to ensuring a safe and productive work environment, whether we are working in the office or on a customer's site. We view the training of all our employees as a crucial part of not only our business success but part of our obligation as an employer.
We are often able to support work placements for young, talented individuals. If you are interested in joining our team, please view our Careers page or contact our Human Resources Department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
